Psychotic Pineapple on the stage
Waist deep in the crowd
A raised platform six inches off the ground
The room the basement
Packed with hot sweating smoking bodies
Pogoing on the floor
Hanging from the rafters
Grimacing the band waist deep up front.

A punk comes up to D.
"Hey hippie what you doing with all that hair man?"
D. looks on as his beard is tugged
The crowd parts and stares
Giddy and ashamed
Serves him right
Trying to live out the 60s in the 70s.
